The classes are well organised, in a good venue, with a warm friendly welcome. They provide a chance to try out various art media, and some basic principles. I did not find the classes suitable for me as a beginner. The very initial tasks each week were ok, but rapidly became far too complex with little guidance on the basics of how to start to paint the subject, which I found demoralising. I gather from the course co-ordinator that she and the art teacher will make future courses more accessible for beginners- so give it a go!

The course in IDE was a lovely thing to do during the winter months as we started working on colour. As a beginner the station for each individual is laid out with all the tools and brushes required which I found very helpful. Sarah and Stella are on hand to help and guide. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills and for pushing me out of my comfort zone.

Really excellent art classes for all abilities and ages. Lovely location and great class mates! Stella an excellent tutor and Sarah a terrific administrator who works so hard to keep us all happy😊
